Oh…blog…you have been neglected yet again. Let me explain. While traveling on the road I have to bring my ancient laptop that doesn’t really enjoy life that much any more. It’s good for facebook and twitter…but for some reason I neglect you. My apologies. Haha!
This past Fall Semester I have basically lived in the Mid-West. Only having a few days off at time here and there has been a new experience for me. Things don’t seem like they are going to be stopping any time soon either. I found out a few weeks ago that I am going to be showcasing as an emcee at the NACA (National Association of Campus Activities) National Conference in February. There will be 500 colleges in attendance…needless to say I’m pretty excited about it.
Other exciting things is that I have a show with my talented friends April Smith & The Great Picture Show at The Asbury Lanes in NJ on Saturday, December 11th. I’m so excited about this show. Mostly because I saw April at the same place years ago and her performance inspired me to write “Don’t You Feel Like Dancin'”.
Also, things are moving on Joanna Burns’ album that I’ve been engineering. We are hoping for an early February release. I might have some new music by then myself…I’ll keep you updated.
Ok, enough out of me. I hope you are all well and doing fabulous.
=O) Amanda
