Day 116 - The Drunk Bathroom Stall Octopus

I had a show last night in Northampton, MA last night and on my drive home today I stopped at reststop and I always see this coat hanger as a drunk lookin’ octopus. I know it doesn’t have all the legs…but I know I’m not the only one who has ever thought this. I just know it. Well, at least from now on you’ll see it that way.

Day 114 – The Work of David Petillo

Day 114 - The Work of David Petillo

Today I took my guitar to the chiropractor. Haha! I bring all my instruments to David Petillo….and only David Petillo. He is the end all and be all when it comes to instruments. I’m not even kidding. Not only does he do adjustments, he also makes guitars from scratch!!!! This is photo of a fretboard that he made. No joke…he is the most insanely talented luthier ever. Take a good look at the Grateful Dead house, the van with the gold dust flowers on the side, the infamous Beatles image, the molecular structure to LCD (I’m not lying), and The Beach Boys surfboard. All from scratch and inlayed into the frets. Whoever is receiving this neck is one lucky son-of-a-gun!!! Check out more of David’s work and if you need to repair or get one of your instruments adjusted I seriously can’t recommend him enough.

Day 111 - Root Toot Toot

So, as you can see my avocado pit has really sprouted. I’ve been looking into when I should put it into soil and I have to wait till it actually sprouts out the top and has leaves. If I put it on heating pad every once and a while and I’ll supposedly see major results. I’ll keep you posted.
