During high school I worked at a movie theater for 2 years. And every single shift I ate popcorn like a disgusting pig. So needless to say, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for popcorn. Recently I’ve been making stovetop popcorn with olive oil and sea salt. I know, you’re thinking “What? Olive oil burns!” No no no. Put the pot on the stove, coat the bottom with a thin layer of olive oil, poor a single layer for kernels in the pot, cover the pot, put on medium high heat and once you hear the first pop shake every now and then so the popcorn doesn’t burn. When it’s finished I pour it in a bowl and grind sea salt all over it and it’s so so so good! The end.
