Did you get the Forrest Gump quote? Haha! Well, the one thing I that I did today was start the Insanity program again today….hence the stinky old sneakers. This past summer I did the entire 60 days without missing a day. Then I started it for the 2nd time right after that and I had a suffered an injury to my hip. Since then it’s been really hard to get into the swing of it again. I have to do a lot of stretching before starting the workout (more than the program normally calls for). ::sigh::
I’ll admit that I didn’t pay too much attention to diet when I worked out in the summer. For such an intense workout I could have been ripped if I ate better. BUT this time around I’m eating crazy good. The past few weeks I’ve eaten better than I’ve eaten in years. No cupcakes….well…at least for now. If you are thinking about doing Insanity…do it! It’s not for the faint of heart though. BUT if you do start just get through the first 2 weeks. Trust me, it gets easier so stick with it. You’ll get best results you’ve ever had from a workout.
